How To Target Your Keyword On Your Blog? (adsense)?
How to like target your keywords on your blog? Because I have Adsense but the ads have nothing to do with my blog? How do i change that? How do I target certain words in my blog so that i can have better results in my Adsense Banners? I heard there is a special thing you type next to the word. Do anyone know what that is? Thank You For Your Help
It is called SECTION TARGETING https://www.google.com/support/adsense/b… wherein you let Adsense know what sections to focus on so it will read only those sections and provide more targeted ads for you.
Adsense can be flaky with blogs – oftentimes you see ads for blog software or other blog providers, but not ads on the actual content of your blog. With section targeting, you can put codes before and after the section you want the keywords to be based on. So you need to put the section targeting codes in the main body of your blog, excluding the navigation.
Here’s what Google Adsense help says:
“Section targeting allows you to suggest sections of your text and HTML content that you’d like us to emphasize or downplay when matching ads to your site’s content. By providing us with your suggestions, you can assist us in improving your ad targeting. We recommend that only those familiar with HTML attempt to implement section targeting.”

Make sure your blog’s title and description are related to the topic of your blog postings. And, make sure you have keyword rich titles for your postings. Re-iterate your topic and repeat your key subject for a particular post in the first paragraph in each posting.
You would probably benefit from knowing more about writing for search. This site has a good newsletter on the subject: http://www.highrankings.com/
